Dalby wins the Nationals 09 October 2009

After considerable effort in organisation, the Dalby Model Aero Club has won the opportunity to host the 64th MAAA National championships. The event will be held at the new year between 2010/2011 and will bring together all the FAI compeition classes plus a number of demonstration events.

The Dalby Model Aero Field will act as the primary flying site with a number of other locations hosting events. These locations are all within a 20min drive of the Dalby town centre.

The event has the strong support of the Western Downs Regional Council and the general community.

The theme for the event is "Friendliness and Open Spaces." This is representative of the high quality flying sites and the high quality, friendly community.
