DALBY MODEL AERO CLUB ALL WEATHER ROAD 13 December 2009

*News Flash* - Attention all future visitors to the Dalby Model Aero Club Field, no matter what the weather is doing, if you can get to Dalby by car, you can get to the field and you won't get bogged!!!

It has been a long time coming. Since the establishment of the new DMAC flying field we have been working towards weather proofing the driveway to allow uninterupted use of the airfield. It has taken a great deal of organisation to get such a massive task completed with such very limited funds. The completion of this project indicates the incredible support of the club from the wider community. Many businesses and individuals worked on the project for nil or below cost of operation. In all, 12 business provided support for the project, most cost free.

The Western Downs Regional Council (Formerly Dalby Regional Council, formerly Wambo Shire Council+Dalby Town Council), through community inkind support provided $2000 dollars worth of loaded, crushed gravel.
