Queensland State Pattern Championships 21 June 2009

The QPFA (Queensland Pattern Flyers Association) held their annual State Championships this weekend in sunny Bundaberg. The Dalby competitors were Rod Williams (Sportsman), Kieran Radke (Sportsman) and Geordie Milne (Advanced). A team of 9 supporters also made made the trip over for the weekend.

Results:
Rod Williams - First Place Sportsman
Kieran Radke - Runner Up Sportsman
Geordie Milne - First Place Advanced

Unfortunately Kieran narrowly missed out on a promotion point, he flew indredibly well considerin it is only his second comp. Rod achieved his third and final to progress up to Advanced. Geordie also achieved his first promotional point in Advanced.

All in attendace appreciated the high quality field and the flyers were fortunate to have very good flying conditions throughout the weekend.

We are now looking forward to the Dalby Pattern Competition in August!!!!
